Objective

Objective The Community Leadership Initiative is designed to help participants develop leadership skills while actively addressing real-world community needs. Working individually or in small groups, participants should plan and implement self-directed projects that create meaningful solutions for local, national, or international issues. Participants are expected to: 1. Take on a leadership role — Engage in meaningful responsibilities that develop leadership competencies through active decision-making and initiative. 2. Identify and serve a community need — Address a specific cause or assist persons in need using innovative and sustainable approaches. 3. Collaborate with a community partner — Work closely with various stakeholders to develop strong partnerships, enhance communication skills, and gain insight into community dynamics.

By taking initiative and leading such efforts, participants will grow into culturally aware, service-oriented, and holistic leaders ready to make a lasting impact. *Duration is dependent on the project.
