Objective

To develop physical and mental wellness through healthy living.

Healthy living aims to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle that allows us to get through our daily activities. It also hopes to develop a healthy body and mind.

Our behaviour has a significant impact on our wellness and adopting healthy habits with a balanced diet and exercise while avoiding destructive habits such as tobacco, drugs, and alcohol will improve both our physical and emotional well-being.

Bronze

At least 24 hours of regular activities spread over a period of 6 months.

Max 3.6 hours/activity

(15% of the total required hours)

NYAA Bronze

Silver

At least 32 hours of regular activities spread over a period of 12 months.

Max 4.8 hours/activity

(15% of the total required hours)

NYAA Gold

Gold

At least 48 hours of regular activities spread over a period of 18 months.

Max 7.2 hours/activity

(15% of the total required hours)

Participants can be involved in more than one activity. The participant must show improvement in their overall performance with effort, compared to when they first started.

  • Sports (competitive or recreational)
  • Archery
  • Cycling
  • Swimming
  • Tennis
  • Aerobics
  • Running/Jogging or cross-country runs
  • Water sports
  • Martial Arts

    • Keeping Fit
    • Gym Training
    • Activities that promote health and fitness
    • Activities that promote physical and mental wellness

    The above list is not exhaustive. Participants can consider other activities that are not listed above. Participants may engage in these activities on their own or through their school.
